I am pretty new to web design and flash, and I was wondering what it takes to make a good Flash template for a website or where I can get some good ideas.

These are the things needed for a good design:

1) Good imagination
2) A pencil and some paper ( pre-plan and draw your ideas on paper)
3) Trial and error (experimenting is the best way to learn)

If you get stuck then come to this forum and post your questions, but make sure you try something out first instead of asking people to do the work for you. Good luck. =)

Yes, basically just open up flash and have fun. Push yourself to grow with the medium.
