Site layout (and design so far)

Yearly edit: Really, It's OK, but it's not on that host anymore anyway, so meh to you. It's a bit dark, though.

What do you think of that design so far?
I think it's ok (even if I do say so myself), but I don't know what to use as a transition...

Any suggestions, commets etcs will be appreciated :)

EDIT: The upper left 'logo' is going to change as soon as I get it finished.

Are you using a blur filter? I like how simple the site it but without other content is hard to crit with out content that way you can get a feel of how it will work and look, I would just put temp file/images that way will see more, then the three roll overs. I do like the direction that your going for. Is your text on the left Verdana? The sounds on roll over are cool...I would on roll over have a border glow on the inside when you roll over the sections, that would just give it some BAM.......

The layout that you have designed looks quite good it'll be better if you aligned it to the center also you need a better host with out the ads.. May I suggest www.keanehost.com It's affordable and you get way more for your money. :hr:

Well, it's just temporary, for critique and I just use that host as a temporary thing... I'll buy one when I need it, and thanks for the link, I'll save it.

I made an image in fireworks and blurred it like that.
The font (all of them, apart from the top-left 'logo') is AdvoCut, which can be found at dafont.com.

I've changed it slightly.. And I'm aware of the problems with the text on the first button, the 'back' button (and the transition still allowing you to press the main buttons) and.. That other thing.

like the background, buttons rollovers are good, hate the rollover sound, as said above I'd move to a hosting account, but overall looks good so far

When you click the buttons to go to the appropriate section, the buttons are still there, you need to unload the movieclip or something to that effect so you won't hear the rollover sounds etc.

As said the theres the obvious prob with rollovers persiisting when they shouldnt.

I like the style and design but Why do you have it running vertically down the left of the page ? and why so thin ??
There is plenty of room down the right of it (over half the pages width is empty completely) which might not be so bad if were centered, but personally id try and make it a tad wider.
Other than that would ahve to see it with content to comment any further.
