Windows Vista 'Create Advert' Battle

Well seeing as Microsoft has recently announced a new name for Windows Longhorn to Windows Vista, I thought I would create a battle to make a small advert banner for the software.

This is all just for fun and they wont be used for anything, its just an idea and for people to express and show there Photoshop or other app skills.

The Battle Rules Are:


- First 10 People Only (Makes it easier for Polls)

- Image Size: 440 x 297px

- Photoshop, 3D Apps, Stock Photo's, Anything as long as you put it together.

- Submitt entries in this thread.

- Free For All - No Theme, Create what your brain lets you

- ONE entry PER person

The BSOD still exists in Longhorn from current reports, the RSOD is for really bad errors, easily caused by removing vital reg entries... but the BSOD will still haunt those who have upgraded from green-screens, I apologize to everyone else for letting Kirupa get your hopes up of disposing of the BSOD :)

Oh, I have a few questions not related to the battle for future reference:
What's the best/recommended way to watermark an image?
What's considered commercial work? More specifically, is work placed in a portfolio considered commercial?

I did it in 3ds max 7 w/mental ray and then added text/ white bar thing in Gimp 2.2. Ya the main effect is in max. If you still want to see it ill send you a psd.

Sure thing Vexir. ;) I'll add it here in a bit. Now you can see the simplicity of it! Its only a slightly modified torus knot. The material is really the most difficult part of this render.
