Site check a wanna be?

I'm really an educator and thats who this site is built for. But, I work as a staff trainer and one of my jobs is helping high school graphics arts departments. I enjoy Flash and I'm thinking of changing my site to a more high tech interface. I enjoy cycling so thats why I chose the theme. Could you let me have your honest about remodeling the current site.

you could make the tweening and animation more smooth, and also make a better navigation system, but i cant really judge this cause im new to flash

1.well first off what is the main purpose of your site?

2.what services are you gonna offer?

3.if i would go to your site as it is i would think you would be selling bikes, this is very important make sure you choose a theme that goes along with your companys vision, it makes it look more pro

4. the music has to go get some soft music or just dont put music at all i personally dont like to use music because it distracts the user and doesnt let him concentrate, and if you do use music make sure you make a button to disable the sound

5. get some images that relate to the services or the look and feel of your company or what youre trying to accomplish dont just stick pictures make the picture relevant to the websites content

6. get a brighter color scheme or have more color transitions, colors play a real big part in any design since it sets the mood of your design

Thanks all for your comments. Yes. You are right the flashing text needs to be removed because of the time it takes.
There is a small unobtrusive button on the lower left side of the page to turn off the sound. I'm really not seelling anything or advertising a product. I created my site as a portal for educators to see internet resources, software tutes, and educational games. Click the cyclists to find more.

You know I shared the site with a class of sixth graders and two teachers today and they all thought it was cute. I thing the eductaional theme ie. professor teaching will grow old fast.
