Can't understand you: you want me to tell you that the site is awesome, even if it's your first attempt (saying to be gentle) or to hear that I can't call it a site? To be honest, your first attempt is a rough mess of different style and fonts, which distract the viewer's attention from the very point of the site. That's it.

I think the best you can do to get inspired is to look at sites, of course good sites.
Try FWA (http://www.favouritewebsiteawards.com/) there you'll find the best of the best.
Honestly there is too much to improve: the buttons are... awful, need to relate the elements of the page, to align the header with the text, use a readable text, don't use too many colors... just take a look at FWA and concentrate.
Keep working! :bandit:

I don't think it's that bad at all for a first site, the layout has much to be desired, and the fonts...well, it has already been said. But the knowledge of flash is there, keep working at it! every site i do gets better and better, stick at it!!!

thanks guys,
design is definately my achilles heel!
the scripts all work and my flash abilities are improving and to be honest this is where I prefer to spend my time.
yes, the buttons are awful but I am working on a new nav for it and also the fonts are all gonna be sorted.
I think good design skills are quite hard to learn, it seems some people just have a natural ability with design, unfortunately I dont have any, but who knows maybe when I spend a bit more time tidying up the visuals it may look ok.

Maybe try and pick a theme, and go with it. With the way your site is now, it looks like notebook paper, but with typewriter font, and then you have a sort of architectural feel to it as well. I wouldnt have a clue you were selling clothes just by looking at your site. I would suggest maybe making a clothes rack that moves and on the clothing i.e jacket have a link to "brands". OR make your page a clothes closet that opens up to your information. Just some ideas. GOod luck to you, I think you're going to do great!
