That would be an idea.. But how about furthering it to more of an artistic theme...

Design of the Week...

Where it is more centrally located around the main theme of "creating" the image.. And not "finding" the image...

I'm sure that people make images like the flying jesus and everything but still.. I think if it were implemented it would have to be more on the lines of design something to show how good you are at art.. Photography, painting, drawing. photoshop.. Anything matched against anything.. I think that kind of idea would be cool :)

But if we did this.. I'd have to demand something more for us programmers... Pit your experiments against everyone elses... Just kidding btw... But it would give me an even chance... The fact that you designers are running the show pisses me off :P

haha... I still need to learn the syntax for PHP.
One of the projects that I want to do is a flash organizer for my personal use.
I wonder, if you do AI in php, what would you do with it?

PHP has it's own graphic interface system. I've never had the pleasure of doing it but I'm guessing if you were to create an AI in PHP it would be more on the lines of a chess game or something like that....

Or you can create JavaScript in the middle of a page using php.. Then you could comebine the two to make some banging pages :beam:

PHP syntax is pretty smooth once you get the hang of it.. The only thing is you don't have the nice highlighting you can get in C++ or Actionscript... Gotta do it in Notepad.. Well at least that's what I always did..

well... you can see this way too. i prefer to look at it as if i´m declaring kirupa as a world wide comunity, since i´m the only brazillian regular here i feel that it´s my obligation ;)

and believe me, i´m not that patriotic... you´re probably twice as patriotic as i am. just as any american is compared to any brazillian.

but its a few years old. Do you think it might have gone bad?
Thinking I might mix up some caiperina ( also can't spell) this spring.
A friend from Sao Paolo gave it to me, she was hot .

it is cachaça and caipirinha.

cachaça never goes bad, really. and caipirinha is the best brazillian drink ever! do you know how to make it? you can do it with vodka too.

A buddy of mine used to keep a bottle of smirnoff in his freezer.
I remember he would slice up some limes and then put like a tablespoon of sugar in a glass and mix it all up on the rocks, excellent summer drink.
