MXP editable?

Hi there,

I'm using a component but it lacks ONE vital attribute which i really need to use. So i want to add it to the source code so i can use it in a proper way.

My big problem: how do I get INTO the component to use it the way i'd like to?

Basically, no they can't be edited.. But of course like every compiled Flash file, they aren't entirely immune to decompilation. But then you'd have to recompile, if you'd like to continue using it as a component and I'm not sure if that would be possible.. Probably be easier to just create your own component that did what you wanted..
