preloader help request

I've only been doing flash for about a month, but I was just wandering:

when you create a preloader, how do you change the look of the loader bar, as in, add nice graphics, as most people have done...

if you'll notice, in my site the loaders are just boring grey bars, and I was wandering how to make them cool graphics and colors?

Just change the instances of the cover


make the graphic or MC incorporated into the preload sequence. its quite easy.

Dont want to step on Devheads toes but in a little more detail devhead means double click on the bar mc until your inside its timeline where you will be able to select and change the bar graphic. Usually this bar graphic is 10X 100 in height and width so as long as the new image keeps within 100 wide all should be fine. Just remember to keep the left of your graphic at registration point (the cross hair) coordinates 0, 0.

no offense taken. that is true. sometimes i forget about the small stuff. just used to doing it all the time. Doesn't neccessarily have to be 10 x 100. You can adjust the scripts to whatever you want.
