Ok, I gave my nephew an old P1 200mmx that i had about 6months ago. Everytime he sends an e-mail the date is 01-01-1996. Everytime he restarts, it resets itself to 01-01-1996. The only thing i can think of is the battery on the motherboard is flat..
Now the good part, Shareware never runs out.
You installed it on 01-01-1996 and its always 01-01-1996 when you go to use it..

The only thing I can think of is the battery on the motherboard as well. That happened to me once, but I kept getting all these random funky dates and times though. I replaced the battery and it was fine.
But if the battery were dead, your computer couldn't start, that is eventually what happened to mine. I got a battery dead error.

I havent seen it keep going to the same time every boot up before!?
I have seen random times or always going back or ahead a certain amount of hours but both of those are a bad battery and not setting your clock properly... c!rYx might be on to something :)
