Damn, I can't open links in new tabs by clicking the scrollwheel any longer... Well, some of the links work actually, but I can't figure out why. At one page there where three links to the same page in different parts of a text, only one of those links worked with wheelclicking.

I've notice that it takes a while for firefox to notify user that there is a new upgrade.
I've notice that with all upgrades. weird.

My firefox started doing that on one of my computers...I'm still not sure why. It only does it in Windows...the scrollwheel-click works fine in linux. It's very annoying.

Tabbed browsing works, but is very ugly/basic in IE7 from when I toyed with it last (build 5204, last saturday).

@Ben: You're jealous? I have pitty :P

@FF: Clickwheel clicking still doesn't work on Mac. It never has, and doesn't seem like they're too interested. Darn Firefox looking ugly on Macs!

Well I have never been a big fan of Firefox, I dont see what all the rave is about, IE has been fine for me, no spyware/adaware, IE works 100% perfect, FF screws up everynow and then. I only use FF for tabbed browsing, once IE 7 is out, FF is uninstalled!!

What about the plugins?

Yes, and it's nothing to drool about. Hell, I'd use Firefox over IE7 any day.
Tabbed browsing still looks like an afterthought, and the inteface on them rivals no one, it's pathetic. The only things you can do with tabs is click the little button to create them and click on them to switch around. Can't drag them around, can't show load bars in them, no advanced gesture controls, nothing.
Rendering is a little better, but is still a mess as far as I can tell.

Firefox + Tabbrowser Extensions + Developer Toolbar Extension rules IE7 any day.

Regarding the FF Updater issue, I read a few days ago that due to bandwidth reasons, not everyone is notified of a new version immediately. They have some sort of a staggered upgrade notification system that notifies users at different times.

Jeff Wheeler

Oh man, I sure hope it can! I use those like all the time, well, I would.

Man, you could paint cool pictures with the pencil or paint brush, and set any background. That would be so cool...

Yeah. I would die for a Powermac G5 with the full 8 gigs of ram, and two 30" cinema displays.

That would rock

But back to topic ;P
