Logo reminds me that of the Design Chapel. While preloading, the logo could be vector, because it looks awful (quality). As for the site, it's OK. Works in the P-folio are few, but they're good. Keep up. ;)

*Note: Zoom In - Zoom Out - see what happens.

once the preloader is done, the fade in transistion could use a boost in the fps - looking good- also the sound fx could use a bit of tweaking, perhaps make them higher pitch and softer in volume -

they overpower the music and the pitch doesn't match the key of the music

i like the colors :)

haha, I had a feeling that site would come into question. I saw the site a while ago and forget to bookmark it, and I have been searching for it since. I loved it so much, that a lot of my inspiration came from it. Now that I see the site again I realize how similar they look.... I think i'll have to make some changes to decrease the similarity.

very, very nice. the only crit i can make is that in the splash page, the bottom of the logo doesnt fade completely into the black. Nice work!

I really like the image that loads on the index page, really nice, something different as most sites have centred splash pages.

preloader is clean and simple, sweet button rollovers, nice colours, simple transitions, love the site, so simple and clean!!

only thing i saw that could be improved was the gradient fade in at the beginning - simple fps boost like said before will cure this :)

No offence, but I don't see much inspiration or innovation from you. Just a worse copy of the orginal. The logo is similiar in a way, the colors are - well they are a lot alike too.

One more thing, I hope you got the licence to use Timo Maas's music --;

Ok first im using Firefox on winXP.

And the preloader and fade out was Very slow and very jittery.
Once got to the site it looked ok, clean, pretty well thought out, but id say that the transitions all look a bit sluggish to me, need to speed up a bit.

However i would agree with Bohner about the site he posted by 'rodrigo f campos'
Its very similar but alot better, thats not offense meant to you, cause i think his site is really cool.
So id say speed it all up a bit and add some element or idea which makes your idea stand apart from his rather than emulating it.

Oh id say that the second site bohner posted is not much like them really, i mean really if you apply the same standard to all a web sites then they are ALL copies of each other.

i like your site a lot man, the thing is that when i click SEND in the contact section nothing happens, except for the checkmark. So i iddnt kno if it was sent because no message popped up sayin thank you or whatever. You probably got 10 email from me because i clicked it so much. I think after clicking send you should make flash say a message, other than that ++++++++

Bohner, if your going to rattle off every site with a 'griffen' style logo you're going to be linking url's for days...

Heh thanks for the email euro, I did get it about 5 times but that's okay :)
The checkmark means the email is sent, I thought it was simple and understandable. I will add some text later to make it more clear.

Hrmm the fps thing is rather odd. I am currently running the site at 80fps. I know that Firefox likes to Bogg down the fps 20~30 frames...I'll have to research it.

Thanks for the comments.

but yeh the site is lookin alright, like other people said, center the splash page..

80 Fps is to high i think, i have always stuck around 20 - 24.
And firefox seems to slow all my flash sites down.
Im making one at the moment at 20 fps its quick and crisp on IE but on firefox it runs slower (only marginally but slower nonetheless)

EDIT: just checked out your site on IE and its fine no slowdown at all, FPS all good...
So it must be a firefox issue as its dramatically slower on that.
Check it out yourself, it almost ruins the site when its slowed down.

Yeah I have been having that problem with all of my sites...And I have no idea why it happens.

In case its of any use..
I am doing a site with the same problem (slow on firefox) and i couldnt figure out why, i noticed as i added more onEnterframe functions (theres alot of them) it got slower and slower till it was almost painful.

And i fixed it by removing the transparency from the base movie (i had it over a pattern which showed through)
Now no slow down at all.

So im wondering if maybe your is slowing down for some similar reason.
Try just embedding it in the most basic way and see if it speeds it up.

Nice transitions, clean design, easy to navigate.

Great job!
