I don't know if any of you guys play, but this seems like a hardware / software relation issue so I posted this here. It's really a great game, for being free and all. (2.4 is super buggy though; 2.3 is a lot better)

When I'm waiting to enter the game, it crashes and gives me this error:

Build AmericasArmy_Build_[2004-06-01_02.01.01]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 1995 MHz with 510MB RAM
Video: RADEON 9800 PRO (6542)

General protection fault!

:( Anyone know whats wrong?

I'd try a reinstall. A general protection fault is something you usually can't prevent. It's probobly a driver / hardware / software interaction error.

I posted these on AA forums, it seems that 2.4 really is a lot buggier than I thought, people are getting these left and right, and its becoming really very hard to play! 2.3 was infinetely better and more stable..
