i'd like to know, what faster for flash to move, a normal vector drawn thing, or a bit-map...
, also, are there any other ideas of how to make the graphics for my game and leting flash give all his power
thinking<( or is it flash having no power to handle multiple objects?) (-:

from my experience bitmaps ade definetly faster. i had no chioce rather than using text with or without anti-aliasing, to export this text to a jpg image so it could move smoothly.
but ofcourse im talking about complex shapes not just rectangles and circles, these are fast to render, because it is easy to mathematicaly expres them. if you have some heavy shape full of knots, which is not optimized (or cannot be) than speed can become a major problem.

Switch to C++ if your planning something that has bullets and more than 10 walls. Trust me its better to switch now and not find out the game will lag no matter what.

switching from flash to c++ will be very difficult it would be easier to switch to processing and you would still be able to show you works in the browser http://processing.org/
