The first page is cool, I don't know about the 2nd page though...
Is this going to be a webpage? I didn't see any type of navigation so I wasn't sure.

kbmviji, I did click on the portfolio, it took me to the 2nd page and that's it. I tried clicking around to see if there's more, but there isnt. =)

I've looked at your source code, and you just have an image in your HTML. I see you meant to have it sliced, with rollovers (very hard to see), but you haven't any of the JavaScript to make it work...

Yeah the second page isn't anything yet. It will be to where when you put your mouse over a word...the image distorts/ has a lighting effect where only that word is legible.
Still in theory and construction though. Thank you for your thoughts!

I really really like the idea you have going here. Very nice! refreshing nav. But maybe just make them more legible? its really hard to find the links right now. I know when you roll over em it will be more readable...but maybe, before you rollover them they should be more readable.

i was really trying to blend them in as best as i could...would that be too hard to pick out?

well for instance...."photo's" and "asp" and the one on the street is hard to find....Actually i can't even see what the one on the street says now. I could at my house, i think this monitor at work is really crappy. But....yea, photo's i remember was really hard to see. Yea i see what your sayin about tryin to blend em. you did a good job at blending them.....I just think it might pose a problem for people trying to navagate......maybe have some kind of pop up...or somthing letting em know where things are?? i don't know hehe.

Cool idea but yeah man overall I would have to say that nav would be confusing even to the above average user. For a portfolio site this may be okay tho. I would still run with it and see where it takes you. I usually use the tab key if I suspect links on a page, although I dont think most do that. overall: 2 thumbs up.

didnīt read the replies, so fresh comments here ;)
i liked the idea a lot :A+:
but there are a few things:
- you could make the links part of the scenario, not just floating text. really blending with the image, like it was there when the shot was taken.
- place a navigation tip, that way the user will know were to search for the links
- animations on rollOver, not just hightlighting, something like opening doors, etc...
other than that, way cool! =)

good points.
the audience will be a major multimedia firm, they are really interested in me, and have agreed to contract me, they just want more to look at...
so the viewers will be "l337"
i dont own a 3d modeling program, or I could make the lighting on some things better...
keep the thoughts coming!

php is just so I could show the code, and the board wouldn't translate the HTML...
