I was bored, and then I saw fasterthanlight's wallpaper (http://s88179003.onlinehome.us/fishFinal.jpg) and was inspired. I'm not a web designer nor do I want to be one [yet]. I was just bored so I created this.

Nice work, I dig the ophion glow.

EDIT: Tone down the shadows, they crowd up the logo too much.

Basic shapes and colors? They're circles with shadows with a gray/blue theme ;).

when i say simple shapes an colours i mean like a 3-4 colour .gif kinda thing. just thought the fade and blurs were a bit much for a basic logo, thats all. ignore my newbie input..lol

I don't like it that much, everythings outer glowed and shadow dropped too much ...
Also the design in general is a bit bland, maybe too little thought went into it.

logos do not have glows or gradients, the logo itself should work when only 100% black and 100% white or its not strong enough.

you can do treatments to logos to match a scheme on a site or style but that is after the logo is done.

what you have is not a logo.

Dont like it one bit, no glows nor gradients, and its too complex for a logo.

its got a feeling of a sci-fi neo-retro road sign - something you'd see in back to the future 2. and in that sense i like it.

don't like it :( as a logo it lacks simplicity its far to extravagant with the drow shadows etc it would look very poor at a much smaller size :(

Too much photoshop, not enough vector...try again, pencil and paper might help.
