Hi all,
Im just looking for a tablet and the Wacom ones seem pretty popular, I was just wondering if anybody here has or used this model

lots of people here use wacom. I'm moving this to drawing & design forum. More likely to get answers there.

I've got the Graphire 2 (one before this model) and have to say it's the best I've ever used, so would certainly recommend both manufacturer and model.

just do a search for wacom or tablet... lots of discussions about it, and most people seem to opt for the graphire (at least for their first tablet) because they're cheap and by most accounts, effective :D

Same here, the A5 model, brilliant. Very customizable (the only app that creates little problems is DeepPaint)... Very precise.

I've got the 6x8" model - in silver :)
I love it. Best thing ever. My mouse is buried in the backyard.

@ya3: Have you seen War of the Worlds? Reminds me of that one piece you did with the giant wave. Really crazy effects.

I have one and used it in this battle piece to paint my textures and bgrds.

I think in this day and age if you are true to graphics and your skills you should get one and get good with it.

i use the graphire 3 for brush effects - 6*8 version it's really really nice :)

we all have one and they are great... just like we've said in the 100 other threads about this exact same thing....
