We are an industrial technical training company specializing in Hands-on technical training such as (but not limited to) Arc Flash Safety, Air Conditioning, Boiler workshop, NEC, Hydraulics, etc. We are currently looking for a Flash game developer with experience with isometric tile-based games. The project would be delivered on the web in a scaled-down version and in CD during classes. Applicant must have samples. We are willing to provide all graphics and sound assets to complete the game project. Our budget is $10K and don't have a hard-fast time constraint. All inquiries can be sent to dricks@nttinc.com.

What exactly is this game going to be about? Is it for training where you basically walk around a nice shop and learn to use stuff or what?

This game will emphasize Electrical Safety as it applies to industrial facilities or applications and the dire events (humorous in this case) of making mistakes in calculations or job procedures. We would like to move an isometric character around the job site to fix, repair, or maintain equipment in 6 escalating levels of difficulty and stress. The player would possilby make some basic calculations, find values from a OSHA or NFPA table, interact/interview other workers (iso characters) for missing facts, and/or collect safety equipment or help before attempting the job. It would be demoed and handed out on CD in the third day of our Arc Flash Electrical Safety class and a scaled down version would be online for promotion of the class. We have art samples if needed.

It seems easy enough, it's just a tile based game in isometric perspectives. Anything truely special about your "game" that makes it stand out from other isometric games?
