thx! yeah, i'm not feeling totally satisfied with the 1st one, and it's definitely to do with the text (color& placement). maybe i'll tweak it some more.

I like both! although i have a hard time identifying with what the designs are

the image is from a photo of the sky and piece of a windmill. then there's some tiny text and the "windy dotted lines" were created by using the magic wand tool to make a complex selection, (the outline of a statue), then i hid the statue image layer and took a screenshot of the photoshop selection and played with that.

this one almost looks decent on dark backgrounds too, but a little jaggy still.

IMO the 4th one is a footer that should be considered as a winner...

why thank you! there are a lot of nice footers in this contest. i'm starting to feel that the "glass button" look is trendy and over-used, these days. but what the heck, it still looks cool to me... so i'm sticking with it. :)

4th one will be the best if you make it roundish like 3rd one. anyhow good job!
