i think ps2 is really good. here is my reason.
the grahics are really good in the games that i have. + the dvd player, was a good idea. Also i heared that you can hook it up to the internet.
the only problem with Ps2 is that sometimes it does not want to work for me.

ok, where do i start? (deep breath...)
The ps2 has been out over two years longer than gamecube - this could be the reason for more variety....
Whoa 'squaresoft' - once a great partner of nintendo, squaresoft sold out to sony, and gave them numerous 'exclusive' titles. This happenend with many other third party game publishers... now 'thankfully' the tides have changed - and most of those same third party publishers have gone back to nintendo...
PS2 PLAYS DVDS - what? this is the reason you bought one - lol - dont you allready have a dvd player - get real - PLAY GAMES NOT MOVIES
Quality control - PS2 has the best games - ha ha - out of the enormous amount of games released for ps2, how many have actually been worthy of your time? i can count these on my fingers (ico, rez, gta iii).. Graphical updates dont automatically mean great gameplay - i need new experiences. Gamecube on the other hand (mario sunshine, super monkey ball 1 & 2, rougue squadran ii, metroid prime, luigis mansion, smash bros) - and lets not forget the forthcoming new zelda.
Joypad - gamecube wins hands down...
unrelated fact : ps1 was jointly created by sony AND nintendo
Just for the record, im not just an nintendo freak, but an avid video game collector (and yes, i have playstation 2), but if i had to choose between these two consoles i would be the cube.
in a nutshell
PS2 : A system which is capable, but the potential is hardly ever realized. Only a handfull of games are 'worthy' of anybodys time. Nevermind, i can watch a dvd on it......
Gamecube : Great games (updates or not) and the greatest pad ever to touch my hands, oh and lets not forget the new zelda.
case closed..

Mario fan, you just said what I did in my post that was earased, only you took a lot more words to do so :)
I feel that Nintendo and games it makes and sends out too other developers to produce are the cream of the crop on any console. There are only a few games on any console that can compare with Mario Sunshine, Metroid and soon to be one of the classic games of all time Zelda: Wind Waker. Heck just look at their track record - almost any person who owns a next gen system right now probably owned either a NES or SNES, they paved the way. Zelda: Ocarina of Time is widley considered to be the best game ever created - that's one heck of a distinction.
As for the PS2 - it's a great system but doesnt have the games to support it. I mean it has hundereds of games more than either the Xbox or GameCube but it's got one problem - 98% of them are terrible. For ever GTA or Final Fantasy , there are a ton of crappy ones.
I personally dont own a PS2 but I do have a GameCube and an Xbox. My friend has a PS2 so I have had many chances to play games on it. I would choose the GC over any other system at any time. The Xbox has AMAZING possibilities with the hard drive and built in modem - but it's not getting great games Except for Halo and maybe Fable (if it ever comes out)
Long story short - Gamecube is better, in my opinion, because of the games. And let's face it - it's the games that make the system
mariofan
March 22nd, 2003, 01:57 PM
exactly sure - its all about the games. Problem is the majority of people dont see it this way... Ok, the playstation is marketed very well, but this isnt the real reason of its success. Could it be that when a gamer goes into a games shop, the first thing they see is playstation, and that the majority of items in the store is playstation? could it be that it is really easy to obtain pirate games? or is it really just because it can play dvds (albeit badly - compared to a proper player).
The thing that really , really gets me annoyed is the fact that the mojority of ps2 gamers dont actually purchase the games they should be - ok, everybody has there own choice - but when games like ico and rez are ignored for games like bmx xxx and rayman... in reality the state of the games industry is sickening...
glad somebody knows the score ....

hey, did i say this was a xbox discussion- no because the xbox is a failure. xbox has as many sales right now as the ps2 sold in its first week....
anyways, you say that you need new variety mariofan ( why did i allow you to be in this discussions, ur name says it all), nintendo cant think of any new ideas for their games. for instance, look at the resident evils for gamecube. they are recreations of games that died years ago, just with updated graphics. and you call this "new variety?" give me a break...
secondly, the controller for the gamecube is a carbon copy of the ps2's( with the exception of the "z" button.) the idea was copied.
third, i already had owned 3 dvd players before the ps2, but it is nice for people who dont yet have one. ($200 for a ps2 when a dvd player alone costs that much).
fourth, square and other companies are only publishing select titles for nintendo because nintendo has crap games for kiddies ( i.e. animal crossing, mickey mouse, luigis mansion). ps2 has the most games on the bestselling games of all time than any other system- mgs2, gta3, final fantasies, dark clouds, gran turismos, etc...) i admit nintendo has some good games like smash bros, but the others are for the kids. oh yeah, bmx xxx ( the failure) was also released on gamecube and xbox, both which were unedited, therefore promoting nudity in the market (ps2 censored it)
i also own a gamecube, but i think the ps2 is for more "hardcore" gamers that want pleasure and actually have to think and gain something from their games....
(oh yeah, one more thing, whats up with the stupid little cds for the gamecube, are they trying to be cute or something. thats just another setback)
ps2 also has a broadband adapter for socom and other games- which gamecube doesnt

ok where to start....
Xbox = Failure eh? How come it has sold more units than the Gamecube in North America? How come it has over 500 thousand users signe up for Xbox Live? How come Halo has sold like 2 million units? In case you cannot figure it out for yourself - the Xbox is not a failure. It has the best looking games of any console to date. The PS2 graphics are dated and look terrible in comparison on any game that is available to all 3 consoles.
The gamecube controller = It is by far nothing even close to the PS2 one. Having one you should know that. The fit and placement of the buttons, control sticks and analog pad are different and better on the Gamecube. The controller seems to mode into your hands. How about I tell you that Playstation copied the controller from the SNES only added an analog stick and an extra shoulder button?
Kiddie games - you have to be kidding. Just because Nintendo makes millions of dollars off of games such as pokemon and mario - they are considered kiddie? Have you even played the mario game? What is so kiddie about it? You have Spyro, Crash Bandicoot - they are kiddie games. The only thing is - they suck. Ok the original two spyros were great, but now.... yuck.
Best selling games = Havent you heard, the new Zelda game is the most pre-ordered game in history, beating out your precious GTA, MGS and Final Fantasy. Also - are you trying to tell me that Super Smash Brothers isnt a kiddie game? The thing has mascots fighting eachother for gods sake. The only reason you dont find it kiddie is because you like it.
New Ideas??!! = who has come up with the most original ideas in the industry? You guessed it. Nintendo. What about Pikmin? you ever play it, or is it too kiddie for you? How about animal crossing? Let me guess - too kiddie again. The reason resident evil games are still being made is because they sell. Look at Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City - you do the exact same thing in both games - but those arent considered re-hashes?
DVD Disk - Nintendo went with the small ones to prevent Hacking of it's console. Pretty good idea eh? I dont see anyone downloading copied Gamecube games do you?
Broad Band adapter - the Gamecube does have one, ever tried Phantasy Star ONline - oh yah, if you had a MODEM FOR YOUR GAMECUBE you would have because they make one.
You need some more facts and some better arguments before you start to trash another console. I think there is lot's of room for 3 consoles out there and all 3 have their advantages. You just asked what one we liked better, so we told you

ok then uncle :
firstly, i dont want to create enemies here in the kirupa forums, and i dont expect to be told that i should'nt be allowed to participate in a thread. You asked for peoples opinions and i gave you it - did i disrepect you,no. But you hit back on a petty thing like my handle.
This thread you created was always going to bring stong opinions from the start, and to be honest mine was pretty strong. I am no 'final word' on gaming, but i am a serious addict, and i strongly believe in my own views about gaming. Like i said, i own a ps2 and through selected games have had many hours of fun.
Ok, now im pissed and i think you really are talking nonence - heres why :
1.Variety - game count doesnt class as variety - for every gran turismo there is a thousand racers on ps2.
2.Nintendo cant think of new ideas (pikmin anyone)
3."for instance - look at the resident evils for gamecube" you said - Did you think before you even wrote this. RESIDENT EVIL IS MADE BY CAPCOM - NOT NINTENDO.
4.Controller - where did the majority of items on the playstation pad come from?
-------d.pad = n.e.s controller
-------shoulder buttons = s.n.e.s controller
-------analouge stick = n64 controller
The gamecube controller is an evolution of nintendos previous controllers, not a carbon copy of the ps2. Have you even held one?
5.Ok, ill lets things slide with the dvd player (allthough the ps2 would be much cheaper if it didnt feature this, making it more accessable to everyone, no matter what there budget...)
6.Companies publishing titles for nintendo are not doing it because of the games nintendo create, but because they see it has a very capable machine that is easy to develop for (can this be said with ps2) - also they have witnessed the effect on the industry though exclusivity.
7.Hardcore - there is no console for 'hardcore' gamers. FULL STOP. Hardcore gamers are not confined to one console, for them, its the games that matter, not the hardware that runs it (and for the record, the ps2 is probably the least hardcore machine ever created - almost all its user base are mainstream gamers, fact)
8.The small cds that the cube games come on are for various reasons :
------1.Help with the small size of the console, making it easy to take to a friend house...
------2.help prevent software piracy (mentioned allready in a previous post)
9. GAMECUBE HAS BOTH A BROADBAND AND MODEM ADAPTER - You better check your sources....
Ok, so we will probably never be friends, but if you only read this line - next time you create a thread that is obviously going to bring strong views - when they come dont take it personal.
oh, and you cant stop me from being in 'your discussions'
mariofan :m:
actually, nintendo does rule :D

did you know that in the first stages of the gamecube, nintendo's "dolphin" was set to have a mickey mouse ingraved in the lid. tell me that isnt kiddy....
the analog stick actually came from the ps1, which came out a year before the ps2
i know what a hardcore gamer is. i have over 200 pc games (not pirated) a gamecube (2 games), ps2 (9 games), snes (21 games),
ps1 (27 games) etc... you get the idea, so dont tell me what a hardcore gamer is, gaming is a big part of my life
i am not taking anything personal, i am expressing my views and starting a debate, just as this tread was created for.
mariofan
March 22nd, 2003, 02:55 PM
the original playstation pad had no analogue stick, you really better check your sources...
I told you straight what an hardcore gamer is (lots of games make you one do they?) hardcore gamers are not defined by numbers, consoles etc - they are players - players who play games. Like i said its all about the games....
And for not taking it personal - why say i shouldnt be able to participate in 'your' thread...
oh, and because a game looks 'kiddie' it should be overlooked? why? does a more adult game make it a great game - it seems you are kiddie (ok, getting personal, but still..)

I love PS2 and GC.. I have fun stories about them.
I got PS2 at launch.. I was younger and stupid then.. then after a while I got tired of it, then I traded it in for a GC.. then I wanted a PS2 again so I ended up gettin one for Chritmas... For a while I had PS2 and GC.. but then I never played my GC so I traded it with this kid for a GBA cuz I'm generous like that. I don't play my GBA or PS2 like at all anymore. lol.. me and my wierd video gamingness.
Oh yeah, I have a SNES.. and it's the best system ever.

There is no better console, it's a matter of opinion and tastes.
Gamecube isn't better than Xbox, Xbox isn't better than PS2, PS2 isn't better than Gamecube.
The software makes the system, and the user decides if the software is good.
I played Mario Party back in the day, now I believe it's too childish, and I prefer, say, Ghost Recon.
But a 10 year old might say Ghost Recon is too violent, or boring and slow, and that Mario Party is much better.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
SureShot
March 22nd, 2003, 03:53 PM
I agree with Aislin to a point.
But again you are kind of pointing towards the "kiddie" aspect again.
I for one play mario party 4 all the time with my buddies and I am 24. But there agian I play Ghost recon too. :)
Games really do make the system.
Aislin
March 22nd, 2003, 03:57 PM
I couldn't think of an example.
I'm not trying to say that everyone should see it as a kiddie game, I'm just saying I do. Again, proving, that the user decides which games are good.
If I think Unreal Championship is cra-p, (AND I DO), that doesn't mean everyone else does. But it's certainly junk in my eyes. Ugh.
Anyways, you can't say one system is 'better' than the other unless you're going on specs rather than how much people enjoy them. That's how it is.
...Specs, Xbox would win. LoL.

My kiddy comment about mario party wasn't based on the looks, it was based on my gaming tendencies. if it were based on looks, I wouldn't give a ...poo, about the new Zelda.

if i import from the us or japan, i have to pay tax - and then a game can cost me up to £100. But my local game shop gets them in all the time, at great rates. zelda is going to cost me around £40 (about the same as a uk game)

thats pretty cool. What's the diff between UK and US//Canadian, really? I can't think of any reason it would take so much time to be released there.
mariofan
March 22nd, 2003, 05:12 PM
here goes - usa software runs on ntsc - uk on pal
the reason it takes so long though (even though the language is the same) is that the games have to be translated into all european languages for european release. THIS SUCKS I KNOW! thats why i have always had us/jap consoles
:m:
Aislin
March 22nd, 2003, 05:18 PM
I don't understand, still. I know the NTSC PAL conflict is like, nothing, and could be taken care of easy, but why all the languages? And why is your hardware different? I mean, can't they just sell the US/Jap vers. with an AC converter? ...or something?!
The reason I don't understand is ---> US/Can games aren't made into French//Mexican, so why should games in England be? France and Italy and whatever can wait the extra months, but I don't get why English speaking nations (*coughthe UK*cough) should.
mariofan
March 22nd, 2003, 05:21 PM
that would be cool (it would also save me a lot of money..)
The problem is that many television sets over here dont accept an ntsc signal, so usa consoles only display in black and white!! I believe a good television is a must for gaming, and my sony tv takes everything - and displays it perfectly!...

The mods are right about all this "game system" debating.. I did a double check in the forum search lines and I found well over 60 topics about fighting over game systems.. 60 topics! That's alot..
Albeit.. Try and help them out by finding old dicussions and renewing them whenever you can...

The same amount. Some times you are lucky, some times you arent. Within the next 2 months I see a lot more for the gamecube that I will buy than I will for the ps2 or Xbox, and I have an Xbox. But agin - this is just my opinion... it all depends on the games you like :)
Trust me - the new Zelda would be enough to make me buy a machine - not to metion that you can pick Mario Party 4, Mario Sunshine, Metroid (game of the year last year) or Resident Evil 0 when you buy a new cube right now....;)

I see where you are coming from man, video games are expensive for sure. I just recently got an Xbox from Ebay and I love it - just not as much as my cube hahaha ;)
The reason I got it was because of the Sega Sports games, the Online gaming and because Rare has signed with Microsoft.
But to try and persuade you a bit more - the cube is pretty cheap plus you get a free game :) so really for the price of 2 1/2 games you could have a system, a controler and a game - not bad!

Yeah.. I have a free gamecube sitting downstairs... But really.. I don't play it much.. I don't have much of a selection when going to the vid store to rent games...
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 was great..
As was Sonic Collection..
I couldn't stand Metroid though because of the controls.. Took me an hour to figure out a good hand position on the controller and I still wasn't comfortable.. And I don't have big hands btw...
I don't feel like buying a new controller either cause it's not my system.. But I'll admit GC has some great games.. Mario Sunshine is fun but I couldn't gte into it...
As for ps2... I never got into the Grand Theft Auto series much unless I was stoned or drunk... Because then.. It was FUN! hehe.. Lemme see.. Final Fantasy 10 was a great game... Shinobi was an awesome game! And I have plenty of games to go out and rent from the stands....
Now X-Box... I have the most games in this... Outlaw Golf, Tiger Woods Golf, Halo, Silent Hill 3, Tony Hawk 3, and plenty of other games.. They were all fun to me... Maybe not to everyone but to me.. The controller fits my hand perfectly and it's the only system I'll play a FPS on because I can do it well with the controller...
As for computer.. it owns all.. hehe.. Warcraft 2 and 3, Starcraft, Masters of Orion 1, 2, and 3, Total Annihilation, Total Annihilation Kingdoms, Counter-Strike and plenty of other games... And also the sheer ability to produce games for it.
:beam: My vote goes for the computer then xbox then it's a tie between ps2 and gc.

Gamecube :
guess just opinion. b/c i love all the games I have for ps2 (which is about 15) and there area soooo many others that ive played that i love. never really liked any games for nintento...just seems to kiddy to me.

Can we stop calling each other's system names?
I dont say that the PS2 is for people who are immature and only like violence and i dont say the Xbox is for geeks who only like Microsoft products. Because it isnt true. Just as Nintendo isnt a "kiddie" system as you have so nicley stated.
That is why these things get shut down or turn into flame wars. Please stop.

to back my statment....I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything. Just from a "normal consumer" standpoint. I find playstation funner to me. I don't see how "kiddie" is offending!? just saying that "TO ME" all the games i see are..........*thinking of a different word since it is so offending*.......cartoonish?! is that better. jeez, why are you so offended? its not a bad thing. Just i like playing games like grand turismo (Very very realistic racing simulation). No harm intended. Still don't understand why you take "kiddie" so hard. Sorry!
SureShot
March 24th, 2003, 01:46 PM
well as a 24 year old, "kiddie" isnt exacly the word I use when descibing what games I play to friends. I really dont want to start into anything here but look, you are generalizing all the games for the GameCube into one catagory - "kiddie" or "cartoonish" it just doesnt make sence.
Have you played Resident Evil? How about Eternal Darkness, or maybe Blood Rayne, Metroid Prime, Splinter Cell (soon) - none of those games seem kiddie or cartoony to me.
I do not like arguing about this stuff because it's pointless really. It's the games that make the system - it's been said before in this thread and it's true. But when you generalize things like you have into one catagory it's going to make people upset that really enjoy the other types of games.

hmmmm....maybe not being a gamer i don't understand your point....but.....that's why I stated "it SEEMS" like it.......and being as i do not have a gamecube, i really havent played most games. and anyway.....am I not entitled to my own opinion?!? I mean....I said "it seems to ME" your acting like i said "nintendo is KIDDY" but I did not....so I really don't appreciate you coming at me like that. Calm down mr. nintendo

March 24th, 2003, 02:06 PM
ok I am done.
I am here to make friends, not enemies. You are more than entitled to your opinion, but as I said before please do not generalize it. All games for the Xbox are sports games, all games for the PS2 arent violent and all games for the GameCube arent Kiddie. Do you see where I am coming from? It doesnt matter if you say "it seems" or "there are".
Please also - dont tell me to calm down, I am not upset at all - acutally I am in a good mood, I love to debate things that I actually know about ;) I was not "coming at you" in any way - just asking you to not stereotype games and systems as you did in your previous posts.
Video games are fun - no matter what the system. I own a GameCube and an Xbox. I have played PS2 before many times but just do not really like the sytstem but I do agree that there are a ton of great games for it from many different genre's.

hahaha......alright. I guess you just don't understand that it is my opinion? Let's see......so you can understand.... Lets say I bought a game cube...(this is an example) and it breaks on me a couple of times in the first week. I can state my opinion that i do no like gamecubes b/c they are crappy machines that break. That's my "opinion" (am i spelling that right?) you can't be like "oh don't generalize that b/c not all systems break" its my opinion!.....simple...not hard to understand. So yes...i can generalize them, its my own opinion. I see your point IF i said "Gamecubes are kiddy" that's a statment. but i did not say that. So.....yea. understand? anyway.....has anyone played "getaway"? its awesome. cept......the navagation part is kinda wierd at times. seems like the coulda spent more time on the gameplay instead of recreating london. but, all in all, very good game.

wow - I see you can be very conasending when you feel like it eh?
I told you, I dont want to get into an argument but you keep getting upset. (did I spell that right?)
The reason I do not accept your argument is because you havent actually bought a gamecube and tried the games (as you stated in your post earlier) so you really have no point. I can say all "Chevy cars break down" but I have never owned one so I wouldnt know.
This is enough - I dont want this thread closed so this is over.

When this thread was locked earlier - many of you complained that you will play nice and there was no need to lock it. Guess, the moderators were proven wrong.
Does it really matter which gaming system is better - especially if the end result is an argument in which nobody really wins. If you like SYSTEM A, that's good. If you like SYSTEM B that is also good. When it comes to a trivial matter such as this, there really is no wrong answer - just the personal opinions of the one who owns each machine :)
Cheers!

everyone, like some other people said before, ITS NOT ABOUT THE SYSTEM, ITS ABOUT THE GAMES. I agree. Pretend GC OR PS2 didnt have any games... yeah ps2s controller is rated better, but its based on your preferences. The only reason i like ps2 better then gamecube is i usto be a big rpg final fantasy fan, and i havent played gamecube that much, i have nothing against it.

allright....this is the last post.....hopefully. The whole discussion that me and shureshot was not even about which gaming system is better....they are both better is someone's eyes. The whole discussion was about "opinions" and he seemed to think that "OPinions" have to be backed w/ facts. They are opinion! I posted the actual meaning of an opinoin just so there is no confusion..............but there still seems to be.

Hey, first of all I'm new to this forum (mainly use teh gamingforce forums) but decided to create an sn here because of my brother, UncleGuito.
All of you have valid arguments, some more immature than others, but otherwise valid. As some background info, I've had a PS2 since May 2002 and picked up a Gamecube last week. This particular debate has been going on since before the systems were even released. I myself have been more of a Playstation fan, especially after having spent countless hours in the many great RPGs that the Playstation delivered us.
Here are my views on this:
The Playstation (and PS2) analog controllers seem to be the best controllers available since the SNES days. However, the Gamecube controllers do come close so I don't think it's really fair to compare the two, especially when they're pretty close in quality and funtionality.
PS2 did come with a DVD playback feature as well as backward compatibiltiy (able to play PS1 games) which is definetely a very strong advantage.
True, the Sony systems have been geared a bit more towards the older audience while Nintendo seemed to be developing games that appeal more towards children. However, with the release of the Gamecube the death of the N64, Nintendo seems to be getting a bit smarter.
As far as RPGs go though, I personally don't think the Gamecube will ever come close to the number of and quality of them as with the PS2. The Gamecube, however, is a lot better for multiplayer entertainment, while the PS2 is generally played solo (or max 2 people unless you have a multitap, which is rarely used in games). I don't think there's any PS2 game that comes close to Super Smash Brothers Melee in entertainment value when it comes to a multiplayer experience (excluding online play).
And as far as Squaresoft goes, it's sad to say but they seem to be going down the hole. Final Fantasy VII seemed to be the company's last glory. Many of the younger games (who weren't around during the NES/SNES days) seem to think Final Fantasy X was "the best game ever," however I feel it lacked in the gameplay Square used to offer to RPG fans, for example FF VI and Chrono Trigger.
Overall, the Gamecube blows away the PS2 graphic-wise, framerate-wise, etc, however I have to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed more time playing the numerous elite games for the PS2. No doubt about it though, the Gamecube does have a few exceptional games that are NOT in a gamers best interest to pass by, but I feel the PS2 has MORE exceptional games. I am in fact anxious to play the new Zelda for the Gamecube. People nowadays are way too critical of everything and should just learn to relax and give things a chance. To conclude, both systems are definetely worth purchasing, especially if you consider yourself a diverse gamer who wants to try and appreciate everything video games have to offer. I apologize if my writing seems a bit choppy or messed up, but I'm kind of in a rush to go somewhere.
Anyways, I vote "PS2 is better because of it's games."
I do not believe it is better in everything.

Woooow, that's one huge (sometimes angry) thread we got here.
Anyway, to participate in this: ;)
I owned one console in my life: the Sega MegaDrive ("Genesis" in the U.S. I believe). Very cool console in my opinion. The SNES was very cool too, but I can't really say which one was the best. Sega's 32X was total crap.
I don't have a PS2 or a GC or an Xbox. I played on all of them though, many friends have one of these consoles. In my opinion, I think the PS2 is not worth it anymore. GC is all about Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong again, and that's just kind of not cool. And they stole Sonic godammit! ;)
The Xbox has one big as.s controler, but it's one of a kind. Compared to other controlers I don't think it's too big or too difficult to handle. Actually I kind of like it. The console itself is looking like crap though. It's like a VCR of 1992. But it has the best looking games and I believe that some of those are very good too. So, if I would buy a console, it would be the Xbox. Games like erm... "Vexx" are coming out on all the consoles, and why not pick the best looking one? :)
But that's just my opinion. Please don't hurt me.

Hehe, this thread has been quite a funny read its amazing how people can get so worked up about games, "myself included". Seems many people have different opinions but thats only because people like diffrerent types of games. So you can't have a better system, only a system that caters the needs for different people. I have a ps2 cause i am a avid rpg fan, i love final fantasy and games such as that. I also love zelda which makes me think about the gamecube, but it needs more rpgs before i could consider a purchase. Even now the megadrive rpgs like Shining force and landstalker r still great games imo, they have poor graphics to todays standards but have great playability, which is the most important factor.
As for GC being childish i disagree, it has a wide range of games to cater all ages :D, and has neone played kindom herats , supposedly a kiddy game but i thought was very enjoyable :P

Very ugly...
*wipes blood off of his face*
I myself am an online gamer with PS2 but i think X-BOX's online setup is much cooler and easier.
The more competitive the companies get, the better games they will put out in order to smash the other company...I think its all about timing. like right now, gamecube has just released some major classic titles that will sell like crazy, while X-BOX will probably take control when they release HALO 2, and with it being online, will probably put sony and maybe nintendo into a slump.
It will be very entertaining...
