definately not the first one. you could do something with the second one but it would need some adjustments, there are way too many circles. then where's/what's the company name? what's the field of work of the company? and so on..

I am no company;) and I havn't tought about the name yet:) and it cud be above or below, and the second one represents grapes so it wud need some circles:p

it's a logo, so you want to show it in black and white. don't photoshop it. the 2nd has potential, but i also think it has too many circles.

just saw your other thread in S&C about your site, that raised another question. why would you use grapes to represent design-related work? that's like using lemons in a logo to represent an apple-farm (or whatever it's called in english)

Drybone

havn't tought about that yet:p not exactly the same as lemon and apple cuz theyr both fruits and and that wud kinda deny that its sumthin apples to do, and grapes often represents fruit in all and fruits represents growth and you cud say I grow to be better all the time, I cud make up lots of other teories;P

Im with developing on the grapes. The glass one doesnt seem to be scalable in terms of size or format either (think black and white as an alternative to colour say on a tshirt or something)

I dont think they are really logos but more of some cool effect you did on photoshop. Besides the point about the logos, i think you should check your spelling on a lot of words.. (could, would, etc)

Honestly I don't like any of them...
'Cause I don't know the history of any of them!
I need to make the decision based on the name of the company to say the least, but some more info is definitively welcomed!

I like both of them as pics, but i really don't know enough to judge them as logos!
Although u should really understand that sometimes paranoid comprehension of the backgrounds of the elements of ur logos does come in handy!

Fire is perceived as a cleansing thing for many, and also a dangerous element!
Bubles are nice, but that logo doesn't have them, it does have grapes...
The pattern it has resembles grapes, and it is confusing me; at least; because of the color!
White is peacefull, and blue is serenity... Not too bad for a Hospital, but the shape is just confusing! If u want bubbles u'll need the shine on the bubbles!
The shine on each of those circles might change the appearance of the whole!

Personally i don't quite like them as logos, but that depends on the company and the background of said company! They are radicly diferent tho!
Another thing! What is wrong with ur flat ball?? why the shadow? That shadow indicates it's flat! But the shadow way down and round that ball into a sphere...
At least put some shine into it!!

uhm, I think the final conclusion is to do some research on effective logo design. Keep trying son.

Um, why not make a logo with some bones... It only makes sense for drybones design.

Take those logos to a print shop. Tell them you want a billboard or somthing printed big. Im sure you will go with #2 after hearing the price of #1. When you make a logo always make sure that you have an easy to print logo. Just incase your(or their) business takes off.

if you want to know if your logo sucks, look at it in black and white (which is how you should be designing anyways when creating a logo :bad:)

if it doesn't work in black and white then it sure as hell won't work with color because then you are just trying to cover a poor design with distracting color.

i think someone needs to write a tutorial on logo design or at least a sticky.

Don't use the ps effects, keep it clean or really subtle. Also, If you use photoshop effects you will have trouble printing them nicely, you will only be able to use them on the web.
I think your second batch is definately moving in the right direction. I like the red one, but try to get the gradient not to start at black, use a darker red from a little further down the gradient.

THe red one I only use in the web and my actual logo will look something like this one

And the Didier Sachs logo from GTA: SA.

And the Dare Devil logo. It's hardly very original or inspring.

It's hardly very original or inspring.

I definitally agree, maybe you could try and 'spice it up' a bit. Make it your own, make it so people know it's YOU. Try some curves, or maybe even a different font that is more 'abstract'.
