I would get rid of the double border, and leave the actual image the same. That way the wings are outside of the image. It would just look cool.

Drop the two black line border. Thats all, or keep one of them and change it to a dark blue.

Yeah the text is better now, I like it... although you might want to try "burning" it in a bit, making seem kinda like part of the flames(dark in the middle, light on the outside)... ? Hard to explain.

The first one is 19kb. The angel one is 35kb and the fire one is 40kb. The max for this contest is 15kb per footer only :(.

Also - the angel one and the fire one combined becomes 300 by 80 and 76kb total, forum rules say 300 by 60 max at 15kb total.

( I think you're fine as long as the mods don't recognize it :lol: )

The ones I have attached are within the rules,
The ones linked are not.

And as far was the whole 300 x 80,
What are you talking about?
I just have them stacked in my sig.

Every single one except the attached fire one is over 15kb. The ones stacked are 40px height each, 2 of them make a total of 80 height. I was pointing out that the rules only allow 60px height total. Plus the fact that each of your footers (stacked ones) are way over the 15kb limit.

It's not that hard to understand, capice?

The thing I didn't understand was how you were telling
me that my attached images are over the limit.
I was sure that when I made them that they met the rules like:
Can only be 300 x 40.
15 kb limit.
Only 2 submissions.

13.77 KB (14096 bytes) that is what the winged one reads
in the properties where I have it attached.

As a note I am only submitting,
The first 2 I posted in this thread.
Everything else is just for input from other users.

Right, I'm saying everything besides this contest. Forget the contest. The 2 images you have stacked in the footer violates the rules.

The winged one is 35 kb. The fire one is 40 kb. 15KB is the max limit.

"Ensure your footer's dimensions do not exceed 300 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall (300x60)"

The 2 stacked together total up a height of 80 pixels, just look at it. The whole thing counts as one footer.
