Hi people,

I'm sure someone will be kind enough to help me with this. I need a 750 pixel wide header image for my local scout troop's website which I am creating.
I will attach a basic piece of background which is to be used, only by copy and paste, not stretched to create the canvas for the header.

What troop is the scouts, BOY SCOUTs or CUB SCOUTs?
Also, what are the numbers for the green color?

It's just Scouts...so I spose it's Boy Scouts. The colour green's hex is #336666

Wow, thanks Wandman! I'll wait for any other entries, then tell you my verdict on the one that I choose to use.
Edit:
Just for the record, could all entries use "18th Swindon Scouts" as the main text of the header.

Wandman, if you don't mind, could you change your text.

Omega, why arent we allowed to stretch the background pattern? I think it'll make for a really nice bg if I can touch it up and stuff.

Reefster < It will make it look bad because there are pixels at the edges that fit together on the original design. (For the website background)

It has nothing to do with where you live, just how you can think of a design using stock photos from different resources.

You still dont understand, the reason robvr6 got the cake was because he executed the header better than you did, with the right resources of text and images. The big snow mountain barely has anything to do with it? Maybe it's just me but I didn't know they do that at the boy scouts.

PS. You took the picture of the big snow mountain :h:?

Oh that's what you call 3d services wandman: Borders/Shading aka Beveling. That isn't 3d. I was wondering what you used for "3d", but now I know: Photoshop.

very nice header robvr6.
been in scouting since i was 6 (jeez...10 years! scary!) and i find that one very authentic and really ties in with scouting. Got so much in there! the group founder (baden powell), the promise and the purple badge which is used throughout scouting (which i cant remember the name of...grrr!). Well deserved winner.

Bad luck Wandman but snowy mountains and beveled text don't really connotate scouting.
