Aaight, in light on Sim's contest (that I missed), I would like to start a similar contest. So similar infact I think I will copy and paste his rules:

Theme/Title: "Oddity"
Sizes: Min: 800x600 or Max: 1600x1200, one or the other
Rounds: 1, no serves, no exchange
Time: 5 days. from the moment I post the image. I want to see if we can get at least 3-5 folks in it before I post (especially reef and steven j..:lol I made it 5 days because I have to work and stuff so I need more time than most.
Weapons of choice: Photoshop, Fireworks, Freehand, and Illustrator

Rules:

1. No grunge, no patterns. This will be a photomanipulation w/ "photorealistic" results. So none of those little pixel diagonals, + sign patterns... none of it. Yes you can overexpose.

2. Limited text... No corny tag lines, just put your image up. You can add a explanation. to be added under you pic at the end.

3. The base image that is provided must be shown, clearly and must be noticable in your manipulation.

Like I said when I get a few people say they are in I will post the image. I have not chose one yet but the theme is oddity. Basically something you dont see everyday. Any questions go ahead and let me know. Seems if I have been called out so lets see if the few folks who pm'd me will show their skins in this battle. But keep in mind guys this is for fun so lets keep it civil and fun aaight....

Has to be noticable and semi significant, doesn't have to be the whole image.

Personally I'd like to just PM him a link to our work, even though 2 ppl already showed theirs, one was a WIP anyway. But there are about 6 - 8 ppl in this battle so I think keeping it anonymous will still prove more useful than not.

lol...thanks man....It seems if I am getting pm's about photo-realism. Lets put it this way just make it senseable, putting the house on a grunge canvas then photo-editting in a severed finger, then sealing the deal with some grunge brushes and a corny tagline is not what this is meant to be. You can merge some elements with other images add effects like Sim asked about to make your image. Hope that helps you guys.
