Really Basic Question

Well, I have been using Swish 4 for a while now, but I have never had to use a background in any of my animations. Well, now I need one. I need to use an images as the background of my movie, but I can't seem to figure out how to apply it. Can any body tell me? And sorry for such a basic question...Google couldn't help me at all...

Hopefully you meant Swift 4 when you said "Swish", but anyway, couldn't you just open it in Flash and put the background in that way? You could also have the image as a plane.

Yes, thank you. I did mean Swish. I dont have a copy of Flash, just Siwsh, Swift and Lightwave (for animation). Ill try using a plane. Thanks.
