I got it fdont ask how but it has like al the plugins its great.

It has the plugins

Mocca
dynamics
Thinknig particles

Well it also came with Body Patint i got the real deal here man it is friekeng great.

What about you Electron Geek do you have it.

Sorry bulldog, unlike you, I don't use cracked software so I haven't gotten version 8 since I don't see a need for it. I'm happy with version 7 and it does everything I need so I'm not about to fork out $600 for a new version.

i think you can download a trial version from maxon.

after reading the release notes, it does have some nice stuff (not that i'm about to go out and dish out the money either) like quicker rendering times for large scale projects and a new mode (like polygon and points) called grid.

yeah i saw all these vids from Maxon and it doesnt look like the Maya trainer anymore, seems like it has some good competition, but it can compete...

Yes I think the radiosity renderer is much enhanced and as I said previously it has the HDRI renderer for ultra realistic reflections...

EG do you get any retail for upgrading from 7.0 to 8 ???

I got version 7 over a year ago on a student program so I don't get a free upgrade, it was part of my school's tuition. :smirk:

But so far I haven't found a need to upgrade yet. =)

i dont really think you need to unless you are doing some hardcore 3d werk all the time
