Chris Gloag Photography - Need photo transitions

How do you think they did the photo transitions in the portfolio sections? Maybe sliced PNGs? I can't figure it out.

I doubt sliced png's, that wouldn't be very economical would it?

It's a fast transition so it's hard to see exacty what's going on, but my guess is you could definatly come up with something similar using masks.

Hmm. What about two versions of the same picture, and two masks. Then each each pictures movement left/right is different by a half second or so?
