Hey everyone,
There have been a lot of issues with FLAs. I've decided that you all do not have to post the FLAs publically in the forums. Instead, you all should e-mail me the FLAs at kirupa.at.kirupa.com sometime before the contest ends with a link to your entry along with attached FLA :)
Cheers!

kirupa,we need to find a way to incorporate all the entries in one place so it will be easier to judge
meaning all the swfs in one page or two with the submitter's name so it will be a lot easier to judge

I'll probably just download all of the SWFs and put it in a ZIP file so that you all can open them up at your leisure ;) The SWF's filename will contain the name of the creator also.

Well I would surely remember "pom" easier than 99923 if I were a judge :P

If you're thinking about making the entries anonymous (maybe to reduce the chance of bias) there would be no point because the judges can already see who has posted what.

Who would win if they were anonymous? :h:

lol! If the judging was anonymous then the judges wouldn't know who submitted what but each entry would have a number and the number would be linked with a user and that would be put to one side until after the judges have made their choices. It could be used, it might be used but I don't see why it should be used because the judges have access to the entries on the public forums as it is.

Well, I guess they'd have to try and "forget" who did what ;)

But it's impossible to forget mine so that idea's just gone out the window ;P

Will it be possible to have any of the flas posted after (or before) the contest ends so that not so accomplished people (like me) can pick them apart and learn from them?

That sounds fair. I don't know if any of the entrants would mind posting their FLAs, for the rules do state that an FLA must also be submitted. Just to keep things fair, the don't have to be posted along with an entry :)

may be u should make a webpage in which all the swfs are in with teh submitter;s name rather than all the swfs in a zip file cuz i think i have most of them but dont know who did them

I think all the fla's should be posted up on a page along with a corresponding swf after the competition is over with the submitters permission of course.
And pom, I know the judges need to forget my entries otherwise they might not have space to remember my newer creations! ;P

Hey All! If you've already attached your SWF with your entry do you still have to email it?
Thanks,
Limitlis

You don't have to e-mail the SWF, but you will have to e-mail the FLA :)
