Hi all
I was just wondering if it is actually possible to do something like a blog, which can be dynamically updated using php, into a macromedia flash movie itself. I'd also like to dynamically post pictures and audio files as such into the flash, and if possible i'd even like a shoutbox...

Is this possible? I know how to load dynamic text files into movies, but i'd like a scheme like "blogspot" where by the user goes to a webpage he or she can bookmark, and then type html for a post...

Any help would be appreciated! :)

yep, it's all possible. search the forums and you'll find info all about this. you can use flash, php, and mysql together.

only if you had an html version along side the flash version.

Yeah... That's what I thought... :)
I don't see the point of having a Flash one then... :(
(Don't get me wrong... I live by doing Flash... :))

I just don't see it very efficient if you just want the prettified look, you can always make it look nice with pure HTML/CSS...

Oh... Actually there might be one time when you could want to have Flash blog... Only if you want to put your blog into your Flash site... But then, even if you do that, you will need to maintain HTML site/blog page for search engine... Arg... When are they going to make the Flash searchable??? :(
