I hope theres a quick fiz to this one. I'm trying to shrink down a picture I took from a digital camera. I want it to be around 100 x 100 square, but when I scale it down I lose quality and I can't even make out what the pciture is. Anyway to scale down my photo and be able to make out clearly what it is?

keep it at 100% scale down and crop what you dont need.

I've already cropped away what I don't need but the picture is still a lot larger then what it has to be.

if you are scaling a 1600x1600 down to 100x100 i dont think there is a way to keep all the quality.

your losing alot of pixel information when you scale down like by that amount. I havent tried this but are you also changing the resolution of the image? what dpi did you capture those pictures with? my suggestion (which i havent tested) would be to retain the highest dpi possible out of your camera and just scale the dimensions of the image, maybe that way it will retain 'some' pixel information.

:: wait .. theoretically this wont work, lol
