This isn't by me, but it's interesting:
I just noticed in Photoshop CS2, in the File/Automate/Web Photo Gallery there are a couple of flash gallery templates. They'll take folder(s) of images and make a 1. Resize Gallery with Resize thumbnails, 2. a scrollbar gallery, and 3. a polaroid/collage gallery.
The Flash source files Are downloadable from the Adobe site (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2960), including a bunch of .as and prototypes for customization...
