Hey guys,
While working on my CounterStrike : Source map, I thought of a neat idea. Like our other Subway battle, how about we do the same thing, but with a MidEastern setting, say maybe a village or something. Just a small scene, which I feel could be accomplished quicker then the subway one.

If you guys have any suggestions on this battle, please say them.

I prefere creating a MidEastern setting. Something like the following :

I'd love to get this started, so if anyone wants to join, let me know and we'll set up the rules.

Sorry I flaked out on the robot battle--just got too busy. I'd like to give this one a go.

psh, all you guys quit on that robot one, cept for c130. but are we going to have a poll on that to settle it between me and c130? or is it just dead?
but, yeah, I finished my 3d furniture piece, so im game, on one condition tho, only if we have a poll no matter how many people finish their piece.
well good luck guys, and hope we get some more participants. :thumb:

I didnt quit. I finished my model and my render. Even built a night time city street corner for her to stand on. When people started to drop out and the deadline got pushed back further it was pretty obvious the battle had died so I didnt see any point to posting it. Now she's being incorporated into a demo reel for the studio I work at so at least it wont go to waste.

Didnt join the other one because modelling furniture instantly puts me to sleep.

I might be interested in this one. Not sure what a Midwestern setting is though exactly and Grinch's imgae link isnt working for me at the moment.

Well no, it's not MidWESTERN, it's MidEAST. here's an example :

sure I guess... I have a feeling that it wouldn't look anything like de_dust in real life though.

Ofcourse it wouldn't, but it'd be a neat idea.
