I`ve since changed the greys to blues and it works much better with the text in the testfile.(Also had to change some of the code to get it to work)
will upload the .fla later.

The new one is nice! It's different too but I like the effect although the 'balls' go off too high for my liking.

Thanks, i actually prefered the old one but as Nokrev pointed out maybe too dark for the text. I have lowered the balls a little - think you are right :beer:

Yeah, this looks better! I know what you mean about using dark colours though. Some effects look better on their own but the colours need to be bolder while the effects that are good with the text have lighter colours so that they don't stand out too much.
