Hey guys, another question concerning price. I am currently designing a logo for a company which will eventually use this logo on the Food Network (Cable television). My usual rates for logos are around 50-100, but considering that this will be on TELEVISION, I am thinking I should be compensated even further. What would be a good price considering that it WILL be on tv, and also used on other high-end marketing proceedures? I will also be making logos for them in the future, so I don't want to stick it to them.. Thanks in advance.

if its good, $300 easily. They can afford it, and its going to be their identity as everyone knows it. Mass media is a powerful thing.

I'd say $750 if it's quite good. This is after reading that Simplistik charged a friend $500...

wow 50$ for a logo is way too low no matter who the customer is. Now since this one is going on Television the audience of the logo will be very large so for that reason alone you can charge a lot more. Depending on how much work is involved with the logo you could offer it for $500-$750 and see what they say. Make sure you get them to quote you a price first. Then if they say $400 (they will always low ball you) Then try to get a bit more than what they asked for.
