Hi y'aaall, sup!

Ok, I have to make this school presentation about our thesis (mine's about vector graphics for web) And they wanted us to present it with a CD.

So I came up with this design, it's not supposed to be cool artwork or something, but it does have to look pretty ... :)

You can see my WIP here: presentation interface (http://www.sq-productions.be/Presentatie/)

You might wonder why there's close to none vectorgraphics involved in the layout but the content will be all about vectors so I wanted to create a clear contrast with the design and the content ... (How's that for an excuse :tb: )

The buttons need to be darker so the white text on them stands out more. Looks fine, I'm guessing they'll be marking the content, and giving no extra points for fancy interfaces.

I like the smooth feel to the design, however i think there are a few things that need tweaking:)

The edges of the nav look too sharp for the rest of the design, try smoothing them out a little.

And as teammelk, try changing the color of the text or the nav buttons themselves.

Add a bit of color to the Background.

Then you've got a nice design :)

Good job so far.

i wish the nav buttons just went blue to green and didn't have white in between.

yeh the text on the buttons isn't that clear in white. Also the button rollover animations seem very jerky.

The layout looked really smooth and actually made me quite relaxed looking at it...perfect for those watching the presentation :)

Don't like the rollovers. Poor use of colors. The text is a bit hard to read.

pretty nice work. id smooth the button corners out a little like someone else said and either darkent the text on the buttons or darkent the buttons themselves.

rollovers are changed.

the reason why there's not much color in it is because the focus is not going to be on the design, but on the content.

And text will be adjusted.

Thx for the comments everybody, I'm already working with them in mind. (y)

It's updated: curved menu, different rollovers and menutext is more clear.

You mean Menu-text or regular text? Cause the regular text is just filler, to show where the actual explanations will be. As for the menu-text, I think it's readable enough, maybe because it's Dutch? ... :)

thx @ Envy & Panther21001, it took me a while cause I accidently flattened some important layers in the psd :worried:

Ah, Dutch, I was wondering what the first button was meant to say. Looks much better.

Thx, and it says "Main Menu" ;)
