This one is my personla favorite. It just seems so peaceful. However, since everything is random, sometimes there are a lot of flowers on screen, sometimes there are only a few, and it doesnt look as good when its at either extreme. Anyhow, I have four versions of this. One starts in the middle, one starts on either side randomly, another that starts on both sides, and finally one that starts on both sides and the middle.

Very sweet. I like the look of the one starting on the side the best. I think it's mostly the feeling of it slowly filling up the frame. Very nice scripting.

you should start deleting the oldest ones and keep it going progressively, so it's constant growth and death instead of phase-based.

thanks guys, :)
ElectricGrandpa: That's a good idea, but i'm afraid it might be too cpu intensive. The only reason this is so cpu friendly is that once something is done moving, it is removed from the array and is out of the picture. If i were to keep everything in the array and keep cycling through and then still have alpha fading, i'm afraid that that would be too cpu intensive. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. =)

That is a really amazing effect. I would love to learn how to make something kind of like that.

2nd day: Thanks =)
aeler: thanks. it's really nothing too complicated. Just a couple of lineTos and scale manipulation.

It looks great! I like both sides the most because one side is usually dominant with the number of flowers and invades the other side! :D
And yes, my imagination IS a bit too wild :P

:) Whatever floats your boat Smily. I do see what you mean though.
As Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."

heh :D
pretty cool. I would suggest you give it a background, instead of having it just white. That's all.

the white background will be transparent in the header.
