[Entry 2] DBarbarian - Solar System

This simulates a solar system. The planets are tweened with a motion guide. Not sure if that's legal or not...
You can chose between the colored background and a transparent (white) background. Not sure which one looks better.

I agree with SlowRoasted. It looks great but it's got too much. It might distract the user more than a banner should.

I don't think it is too distracting. The style is Kirupian with the circles.

I think it is definitely too distracting. Although it is a neat effect, it'll look weird with text overlaid on it.

I don't think it's any more distracting than existing animations on the site, or some of the other entries posted in this contest that have gotton praise from some of the posters in this thread.

I suppose if the majority of the people here share your opinion, it won't be seen on the Kirupa mainpage...

I think this is not as good as your other submissions but you can make the colors lighter and the planetish things more darker color for Kirupa site ...:)

e-sarbak: yea, you're right. It does seem to amature due to the tweening instead of actionscript.

kdd: all the planets are tweened, so its just the same mc at different scales. I could have used the code from my other entry, but i didn't think it looked very orbital.
