site interface and design

could just anybody tell me how to create one of those "wow-tis-amasing" interfaces/designs?????????

Truthfully what I do is look at magazines and pay attention to advertisments and watch tv. You can pull some good concepts from there then there are sites that display cool sites like www.coolhomepages.com

i dunno what your talking about when you say your interfaces suck, cos i saw on your website the "vortex" design and i really really like it. it is a little hard to use though, for what it is worth im goin to pit in my POV

i owuld have some sort of acceleration and deceleraion on the nav wwhen your mouse goes up and down.

i would also have it automatically zoom into a section when you clikc one of the buttons for the section.

other than that i really like it.

as for tips to make a "wow tis amazing site" 3d has the right idea for inspirations, but it really is an individual process

HOLY CRAP! the vortex design is one of the coolest designs i've ever seen for a flash portfolio! why dont you use it? its incredible!

I have been blessed and cursed at the same time with allot of freelance projects so I have not been able to get to it yet. I have built the backend but have not designed everything yet. I know I know I'm a Schmuck but I wll get to it this year.:pope:

That vortex design is amazing. Only thing I would adjust is the easing - it keeps going and going when you let off the keys. Have to go in the opposite direction to come to a stop - like playing Asteroids!
The white one is very slick as well. Think you already have some wow-whizbang ideas going. I, too, wouldn't mind some insight into how the vortex works.

wow man you have talent! those pixle ones have room to be a good site, but i would like to see vortex develop before those.

yep, I agree with mdipi
for instance: in the vortex design, what happens when you click on a link, like "portfolio"? Where does the content show up?

I might minimize some of the periphery FX like the EQ and Matrix clips and concentrate on the composition of each section's content display.
