actually that's a good idea. Now people won't stumble into stuff they don't want to see. INteresting if that actually happens...

.com is too popular. Do you think these **** sites are going to re-register all over again and get rid of their .com domains...I think not.

The **** sites want the common keywords, so although adult.com won't switch, i-wanna-have-a-really-long-****-site-name.com could buy adult.xxx, a prime domain ;)
Edit: The word Pr0n (but normal...) is blocked but not damn? What's with that...

As much as I don't want my kids stumbling on p0rn online, I don't want to see the Internet censored or regulated. Look at China and the news about Microsoft blocking words like "freedom" for them. I would rather a kid see a boob than live in anything like that.

i dont think it would make it easier. if all **** sites ended in .xxx then parents could just block all .xxx sites. Also it would make it easier for us to not just stumble onto them accidently.
As for censorship, this isnt censorship, this is organizing controvercial material into one area. Noone is stopping **** on the internet, they are just making it easier to block and easier to know when a site is a **** site. I think its a great idea.
