Is there ANY way after importing a vector from illustrator that let's say is blue to change the color once imported into flash to let's say grey? What I'm trying to do is basically I've got my images (vector paths) made in illustrator because I'm not familiar with tracing in flash as well as I am in illustrator, so I premake my images in illustrator. But what I want to do is once in Flash have my imported illustrator change or should I say fade from grey to blue in flash as a tween and it IS NOT letting me do that. It's extremely annoying. Anybody have a suggestion for this problem? I've tried to retrace my image in Flash but it doesn't behave the same as illustrator.

make sure you break apart your vectors when you import into flash, usually the illustrator swfs come in as grouped vectors. click on the object in flash and hit ctl b a few times, should work fine then.
