Hi, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to have text with a gradient. For example www.miniclip.com (http://www.miniclip.com) look at the writing in the top left corner, how did they get it that colour?
It seems easy, but I just don't know how to do it. Can anyone help me please.

^ yep what MetteBB said.. though i have a feeling the graphic was creating using layer effects with a stroke and a gradient overlay (linear gradient with two colour points).

XD I thought you referred to something else. You can do that in Fireworks by changing the stroke colour of the text... as simple as that.

what else is to the top left that has a gradient? anyway..... they were talking about the gradient not the stroke and i think we resolved this already.

soulty is right. looks like white text with styles: warm gradient over lay w/ about 2 or 3 px stroke.
styles allow for consistent looks, amost like prerecorded actions but removable w/o losing all work inbetween mistake and last action.

It's certainly not worth getting the Acrylic beta just for that...

also with style u can control the position of the gradient by dragging your mouse on the stage while the layer style open and of course change the size :)
