That's a mesmerizing effect! Your movie dimensions look a bit off though. So what does it look like in a single blue color?

It's neat, but it runs way to slow in high-quality though... right now it's in low quality which I don't think is allowed... unless we're all allowed to run ours in low quality? Kirupa?

No, the entry has to be high quality :(

sure it runs a little slow in high quality, but on my machine it doesn't seem choppy. infact the slower it is the cooler it looks, its more hypnotizing. I know that drawing api can be a pain in the ***** some times when trying to keep the frame rate up and smooth.
Keep up the good work!

It's not as much about how slow it makes the actual effect, but about how it slows down the whole user's computer. The effect aren't meant to be the focus of the kirupa page, they're just neat little background things.

WHOA! We have a winner. lol :beam:
Really crazy effect - but aesthetically appealing at the same time.
Perhaps you could try it on a black background? That'd look better, imo.
Oh, btw - it doesn't go any slower on my machine when set to High :h:

i love it, esp. in high quality because it has a more "hypnotizing" feel to it. great work
BTW, it runs smooth on my comp

This is a great effect! Only thing that needs to be dealt with is the CPU usage because it makes my computer crawl slower than my five month old brother and he can't crawl at all!
Try using fewer lines or increasing the delay between movements. I agree with the various posters about the effect looking better when a little slower. Maybe try shades of blue so that it suits the site a bit better.

Hi all. here is fla.

Well, I have to say, seeing that FLA was like seeing a magician reveal the secret to his magic tricks. It's almost disappointing to see how simple some tricks are.
And I was expecting all kindsa crazy lineTo's and curveTo's. but I guess what matters in the end is that this is a really cool effect no matter how you achieved it. Good Job! :D

Maybe is misread the rules, but where are the circles?

You don't need circles. You only need circles to get Kirupa's vote ;).
