It looks nice, but it is too harsh for a background. Additionally, it is not randomly scripted so it is repetitive and will get boring. It's a nice effect, but it doesn't fit what is needed.

Nick - please upload the your_effect.swf animation also. Your current version is the one with the edges :)

I don't have it on "your_effect.swf". I didn't get it in the download.
