Hey! I'm planning on making a studio, yes, a studio. It's going to have extremely powerful equipment, and the newest technological things. I need help in picking out the best computers, and accessories for them. So, in other words, just write out your craziest computer fanasies! Don't hold back, and don't worry about prices.
Help me build the perfect studio!
Thanks :D !

I was looking for the most high end computers, not just alienware. I built a comp on alienware, and so far, it would cost a good, say, $14,300 per employee. Hehe, not bad.
Edit: $23,381.00 is the updated.

Don't hold back, and don't worry about prices.
If you were being serious, and you're serious about your studio, you might want to reconsider that statement. You can put together some very good computers for your needs at a fraction of what you're suggesting you might spend. Good computers does not make a good business. And if you were joking, then buy yourself the most expensive server you can find here: http://www.sun.com/servers/ - it will be hundreds of thousands at least!

boxxtech makes some intense machines....I worked with a studio that had like 6 of them. They are primarily made for video and 3d folks (I am talking matrix and Lord of the Rings type 3d and vid folks). But I have a alienware at home which kicks arse. Also check out www.ibuypower.com those prices are ridiculously low. So low in fact I am scared to buy from them because I think it is a scam. A machine that is comparable in specs to my A-ware was less than half what I payed. Scarey.

I'm looking for something that could run intensive 3d and video graphics, usinng 64 bit graphics. And computers that could run extremely strong engines, and be able to handle anything that's thrown at them. Imagine how happy my team that I'm going to put together here is going to be, since each one is getting laptops, and anything that they need. :)

I read the book about Cray a while back, it's a great book for ya'll geeks.
I suggest an Xserve Raid (http://www.apple.com/xserve/raid/). Nothing beats those.
(or maybe 5 G5's with 8 gigs of ram?)
(My dad's old office had one of those Sun servers, around $1,000,000 or something like that. Absolutely insane. Then they had to move it, and that scared the heck out of them for weeks. It had way too many processors for good.)

You can't exactly compute on a bunch of HDDs.

im running a sweet *** comp right now (it would run so much more with the rest of the ram slots filled, and 1 more 6800 gt). $2100. fx-55 1gig and all, you dont need all the tricked out crap just buy a few like whats his name said and save a bunch. as far as i know 4 people working on sweet computers is faster than 1 person working on 1 computer.
