of course I didn't know I was entered...

and I have no idea how "prestigeous" this award is...

but the publicist for a former client of mine sent me this email:

thanks EG... it was the biggest pain... all designed in Mac on PS, and I had to animate it to exact pixel positions...

(it didn't win here)

awesome rev! awards are cool just for the recognition, IMO. It's
cool to know someone, even 1 person, likes your site enough to
give it to you.

True, but it's better for me to know that the publicist is sending the site out to be recognized...

I'm sorry, that sounded harsh, but awards can be a dime a dozen, but a publicist actively pushing your work is a definite plus. This was part of the plan from the beginning. To produce a look, site etc, and then hire a publicist to coincide with the remodeling of her showroom/studio...

If I'm not careful, I may make money off this stuff yet...

the site has been done for quite a while... just now she has everything in order, was just written up in a fashion mag...

A very very sweet lady, with amazing designs...

If you have access to lots and lots of $$$, you should visit her studio... it's like a modern art museum...
