ok i have to know, where is everyone learning AS? I have tried books, ummm no.
and text tutorials, but the problem is that I cant ask any questions. (unless i really feel like talking to my computer but not getting and answers) All that i have learned is from some people in real life, but they are always to busy to teach. where the heck do I learn this stuff?

If you've got the money, I strongly recommend these:

Joey Lott (the author of the CDs) really knows his stuff. Other than that, there's millions of tutorials around the web to help you out. Kirupa even has a pretty decent collection, although I wish they would stick to strict typing for Actionscript 2.0. Using strict typing and best practices from the beginning will benefit your understanding of what's going on in your script instead of just blindly writing it because someone told you to.
Lastly, search the forums here. There are millions of answers to the most common questions and quite of few gems of tricks of the trade that will get you moving along.

Heh, good point, sometimes I forget how many times I've pressed F1 in Flash and found an answer with a simple search.
