nice man, i like the idea a lot! i love the subtle blue skies past all the chaos, like a glimmer of hope. some of the blending around the buildings could be cleaner, but overall it looks good. i like the burnt colors of the street, cars, etc. has a great mood.

Well this is a PS tennis battle so yea you're usually supposed to serve using an element from the previous serve. That serve isn't bad lol I like the zipper it creeps me out.

Thanks, explosion in the back is a photo, but the all the meteors were made in Particle Illusion. I probably could make the smoke in photoshop if I really took some time, but I just wanted to finish my serve, the meteors wouldn't look as cool either.

Here are a desaturated and a B & W version. I liked the contrast of B & W with color kinda seemed Noir meets New. I dunno, maybe I'm smoking crack.

crap dude, nice serve. I like the gradients on the top of the buildings. Did you do poster edges on the buildings? Looks like a comic book or like Max Payne or Sin City.

man, i did a traceedges thing with filters on a layer for the buildings and the car which are giving it a more comic feel. i almost wanted to drop batman in there as it feels gotham city-ish to me.

3D, yeah i like to try and find written words that match the piece. it's like an extra little challenge. it also puts typography into the challege which is one of the hardest things for a designer i think.
