ok I need some work on the transitions any ideas? I'm kinda lost right now? also I'm having a problem getting them to play the closing section in the external swfs, I'm using _root.container_mc.gotoAndPlay ("closing"); but its now working? anyideas?

and how should I make the transitions look good on broadband connections? They look OK when I DL test them within flash @ 56k or lower but on boradband they look like crap? just make them longer? the design is pretty much finalized minus some tweaking but comments are welcomed most certainly

Not sure about your technical problems... and surely the transitions should look identical regardless of what speed they were downloaded? Not sure I know what you mean there.

I think for the transition from section to section, instead of removing the entire content box and replacing it with exactly the same thing, I would keep them constant and focus on transtions between the text/content inside the boxes. Maybe a simple mask of some kind could be nice.

To make the site look ten times better overall I think you should resize your content boxes a little. The big one should be wider so that the distance between it and the top nav bar matches the distance between it and the angled edge next to the news button. Also the second smaller content box xhould be aligned with the right of the nav/title bar and eventually be the same distance from the big box as everything else. Ditch the angled cut away bit on the small box as it does not line up with anything, or at least change it to the other side.

One more thing, the whole grey metal thing has been done 100 times before and is now considered 'old' in most cases. Probably not a huge problam as im sure you're not trying to revolutionise the internet or anything. Just something to think about.

actually I really am having a problem finding a decent color to go with the grey/metal interface which the client likes alot. what I'm reffering to on the transitions is they seem to go by too fast to see anything on broadband connections kinda like a "flash" no pun intended I assure you.... also as colors are concerned I'm on a pretty limited pallet grey certain blues and black are about all I can use as the paint scheme on the car sorta dictates the sites colors you know. I think I'm going to go with a blue bg color... I'll update the site in a little bit and I'm reworking all of the transitions. good idea about the angle on the mini content I wans't impressed with it anyways and it does stick out... I'll play with the spacing some and repost in a while
