Though i have made a few flash sites before...i never really finished anything cos i had really no motive to finish them, so this is really only my first time making an entire site out of flash...and I've made a few HTML sites before...so i'm a bit better at that than I am at Flash...so please feel free to give me any critiques or comment as far as the site i've made for my band...=D

oh...btw...i am aware that the Media, Links, and Gallery buttons aren't active yet...thats because i don't have anything yet to put in the media section...and i'm currently working on a php/xml gallery...and i just haven't gotten to the Links section yet...=D

I like it. Times new roman on the splash page doesnt look good, and I'm not sure the pop up window is necassary. All of the text should really be the same size from section to section, and I agree the scroller could look better. I like the look of the nav bar but maybe the text should be aligned to to the bottom and not horizontally centered. Maybe. Also it would be nice to see the red from the button rollovers somewhere else in the site, maybe in titles or something. Nice stuff in genereal, i like the scrolley settling effect in the navigation.

couldn't look at it long. The yellow of the splash page blinds me when i open the content page and all across my screen is yellow and black. I would just not make it a popup so it redirects to the site so the blinding yellow doesn't stay as a background. Also i got some runtime errors in Ie.

I like the "idea" of the design, but something about the colors makes me uneasy. In a way, I like them, but they immediately make me think of "Under Contruction" when I saw the yellow and black bars. Just not a very welcoming feel. But I do like the design.

I feel the same. Like the idea but it's a love/hate thing. The design is cool and the navigation is good but it gives me an uneasy feeling. Meybe that is what you were going for.

I think I would keep it though and just make your final couple tweaks.

do u think i'm using it too much? i only have it there once on the splash page...and it shows up in two instances on the flash page...and i don't use it at all on the html page...

ok thank you for the critiques guys...i think i'm gonna leave the scrollbar as it is for now...at least untill i come up with a better idea for a different scrollbar...and i'll make sure as to not use that image anymore...as to not make it too repetitive...so once again thanks...and i'll need more critiques when i finish the next 3 sections of the site...=D
