Good Design?

Just wondering if the color scheme here is any good or not. good or bad critiques are welcome. need to improve it.

Too simple. Needs something else - gradients maybe. Oh yeh and when I clicked one of the buttons the other disapeared and I clicked it again and it said all feilds must be feild (?) i think you mean fill. Oh and mabe sort out the rollovers on some of the menus

The edit and help drop downs need some work the rollover effect gets chopped a little underneath the words it lookls plain to me.

Its just too simple. The colors are plain, the animation needs smoothing and the idea is just old:(

Update the colors. Use some effects. Shadows, glows, gradients, whatever. Also try making a box bigger, everything seems a bit small
