Not sure if there's one of these posted or not. If so, delete it, mines better lol. Just kidding of course!
Actually my code's a little messy and uncommented. But hey, it's free ideas!
So feel free to have your way with it and let me know if you can make it better!

Here's the link to the source -> Dropshadow (http://www.mavni.com/shadowtest/)

yes i know thank you,
i'm working on that. It's not noticeable when I test it locally, but in a browser there's lag I guess, and that's enough to F it up.
Like I said, if you guys wanna play with it and make it better, feel free. I'm already aware of it's faults, so no need to point them out. thanks :smirk:

So what was the point of asking how one could make it better?

You made this using modify > shapes > soften fill edges in flash? Or did you use actionscript? To make them better just play around with the coloring and 'soften fill edges' settings, I've done this 2000 times but photoshop still satisfies my drops hadow needs :bad:.

Um...good job I guess?

What I meant, was, if I wanted people to critique it, I'd have posted this in Showcase & Critiques forum.

I was under the impression that the Source forum was for Source stuff.
So if all you're going to do, is say stuff like:

you can see when the sides split...
without a suggestions or useful comments, than save yourself the time and go to the Showcase & Critiques section... know what i'm sayin?

I don't suppose you have an MX version of the .fla? I get an "unexpected file format" when I try to open it with MX, so I assume it was made with MX 2004?

As for the effect itself, it's very nice.

Thanks! :D

I believe the sourse for the one pixi posted is here (http://laco.wz.cz/tween/?page=examples), marked "changing window witdh, height and tint without disortion". However, I believe it too is an MX 2004 source.
